EMUGE-FRANKEN offers a full service reconditioning service for carbide drills, carbide end mills and Emuge HSS-E taps. Our team of skilled technicians and state-of-the-art CNC regrind equipment provide fast and accurate regrinds here in the USA.
Located in Central Massachusetts, we provide 2nd day guarantee shipping at ground rates anywhere in the USA and next day delivery in the Northeast. Emuge-Franken can also provide durable plastic shipping totes on request that protect your investment during shipping. Emuge-Franken also offers PVD re-coating on reconditioned tools.

Tap Holder Maintenance and Repair Program
The most cost-effective way to increase your CNC machine productivity, reduce down-time, and reduce scrap while maintaining part quality is proper care and use of your toolholders. Toolholders are a small proportion of machining costs but can have a big impact on productivity and ROI.
Periodically, toolholders should be examined for wear and if necessary repaired to maintain cutting performance.

Please allow 1-2 weeks for maintenance. If holders are worn beyond normal maintenance, repairs will be quoted. Additional repairs for standard holders are quoted upon request.

Shipping Tips
Minimize Possible Shipping Damage
- Place used tools in their original protective tubes if possible.
- If original tubes are not available, bubble wrap individually or wax dip the flutes.
- EMUGE plastic shipping totes are available upon request.
Include Proper Paperwork with Worn Tools
- Include contact information along with the used tooling.
- If possible, return with an EMUGE reconditioning form to reduce processing time.
